At least one member of the party must be 18 years of age or older.
A deposit of 20% of the total holiday price is payable at the time of booking. The deposit must be received within a week of the provisional booking being made. The booking is secured when the deposit is received.
The balance of the amount is due 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. If a booking is made within 4 weeks of the start of the holiday the full payment must be made at the time of booking.
If you have to cancel your holiday for any reason more than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday only your deposit will be forfeited. If you have to cancel less than 4 weeks before the start of your holiday the full amount will be forfeited unless another booking is taken for that holiday period. If another booking is taken the balance of the amount will be refunded minus the deposit and any advertising and administrative costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU TAKE OUT ADEQUATE CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
If, due to exceptional circumstances eg fire, the cottage is not available on the agreed holiday start date, all payments will be refunded in full and the owners of Castaway Cottage will not be liable for any further expense or loss resulting from this unavailablity.
Under no circumstances should the occupancy of the cottage exceed 4 persons (+ any babies in cots).
The cottage and its contents must be left clean and tidy.
The owners of Castaway Cottage reserve the right to refuse a booking to anyone whom they consider to be unsuitable.
